What's New in COPOMO — Customization, Rewards, and Focus Cosmetics

A roundup of COPOMO product updates since late July — Customization, claimable coins, achievements with levels, lounge backgrounds, celebrations, bell sounds, and Pro presets.

Since our last blog posts landed at the end of July, COPOMO has grown a quieter kind of progress system: cosmetics and rewards that live off the timer, so your focus block stays calm while customization gets deeper.

This post is a plain-language tour of what changed and where to find it.

Customization is its own home

Rewards, cosmetics, and Pro lounge presets now live on a dedicated Customization page (linked from the navbar). Profile stays focused on account details, notifications, and billing. Coin balance in the header jumps you straight to Customization when you want to claim or spend.

Claimable rewards, not automatic noise

Session and task coins do not silently stack into your balance. They queue as pending claims until you claim them on Customization. That keeps toast spam low and makes progress feel intentional — finish work, then cash in when you are ready.

Achievements still award coin bonuses when unlocked; those bonuses join the same claim queue.

Achievements now feed a simple level

Every achievement grants XP equal to its coin reward. Levels advance every 25 XP. Your level and progress bar sit on the Achievements tab so you can see long-term progress without turning the timer into a game HUD.

The cosmetics shop

Unlocked items persist to your account. Free defaults exist in each category so you can always reset:

  • Accent colours — recolor UI accents (and the COPOMO logo mark) site-wide
  • Backgrounds — full set of lounge images (campfire, library, cafe, forest, mountains, lake, beach, night sky, rainy window, city lights), plus a None option and opacity control
  • Room join flash — optional colour wash when you enter a room
  • Chat bubbles — tint your room chat
  • Celebrations — confetti, fireworks, balloons, sparkles, stars, or none when a focus session ends
  • Bell sounds — classic, soft, bright, deep, or digital chimes on session end

Celebration and bell rows include a Try button so you can preview before you unlock or equip.

Coins are harder to farm than the first MVP pass: daily caps are tighter so assembling a full cosmetic set (one paid pick per category) takes closer to a month of steady studying.

Pro lounge and layout presets

Pro still unlocks three named presets with backgrounds, uploads, and drag-and-drop panel order for solo and rooms. Presets can also store shop cosmetics (accents, flashes, bubbles, celebrations, bells). Switching a preset equips that set. Clicking backgrounds on Customization previews live on the page.

Free users keep shop cosmetics that do not require Pro; lounge layouts and custom uploads stay Pro.

Dark mode only

Light mode and the old custom colour theme path are gone. COPOMO runs dark-only, with colour personality coming from accent packs instead of a separate theme editor.

What stayed intentionally quiet

The main timer UI is still meant to feel clean. Celebrations and bells fire at session end, then get out of the way. Unlock toasts stay subtle. Nothing on the focus circle asks you to manage a shop mid-Pomodoro.

Try it

Sign in, open Customization, claim anything waiting, and browse the shop. If you are Pro, open Lounge & layout presets and build a named look. If you want the social side of Pomodoro, start or join a room — the cosmetics you equip travel with you into co-op sessions.
